New ‘Game of Thrones’ episode trailer teases two epic scenes we’ve been dying to see
The eighth and final season of Game of Thrones premiered on Sunday night, or early Monday morning, depending on where you’ve streamed it, and all I can say is that we’ve been waiting for it for far too long. I’ve watched the whole thing with a wide grin across my face regardless of what was happening on the screen. And I know I’ll have to see it again just so that I pay attention to everything HBO just revealed. Because let me tell you without spoiling anything, the first episode perfectly sets up what’s to come in season 8. HBO has also released the first trailer for the second episode, and it already teases a couple of epic scenes that we’ve been dying to see all these years. Before we proceed, I’ll warn you that spoilers follow below, especially if you haven’t watched the premiere.

Samsung insider suggests the Galaxy Note line will get a major name change
Samsung is expected to launch up to four Galaxy Note 10 versions this summer, according to the most recent leaks, although two of them will be 5G variations of the two 4G handsets. Still, this is something that Samsung hadn’t done before, with the exception of the Note 4 series, which also featured an introductory Note Edge concept. Samsung supposedly wants to replicate the sales success of the Galaxy S10 by offering buyers multiple Note 10 models to choose from. And, in doing so, Samsung might make a significant change to the Galaxy Note’s name.

Prediction: Apple Arcade may end up being a bigger winner for Apple than its TV service
After formally unveiling the subscription-based video game service last month that it’s planning to launch this fall as part of a shift toward services and revenue-generating subscription packages, we got our first look this weekend at just how serious Apple is about Apple Arcade. Which still doesn’t have a launch date other than the understanding that it’s coming later this year, but it seems that the iPhone maker has decided to spend several hundred million dollars on more than 100 games, for a total spend of more than $500 million on this offering that users will pay a monthly fee for. In exchange, they’ll be able to access a slew of premium video games from both well-established and independent game developers — games that will include both new and exclusive titles.

New ‘Avengers: Endgame’ TV spot leaks, Marvel shows private audience 20 minutes of footage
The Avengers: Endgame press tour has hit South Korea, with less than two weeks to go until the film hits cinemas, and it looks like Marvel has shown 20 minutes of exclusive footage to a select audience at a “heavily guarded” event in Seoul. On top of that, a new TV spot showing Captain Marvel ready for action has leaked over the weekend, and it’s a clip that Marvel has yet to push to its YouTube channel.
The clip made its way online though, and we might also have an idea of what’s in those mysterious 20 minutes thanks to a previous leak. But before we go any further, I’ll remind you that spoilers follow below, so now’s your chance to avoid them.

Everything new coming to Netflix this week, and everything leaving (week of Apr. 14)
It’s not often that I can’t find a single show or movie I recognize among the Netflix arrivals and departures of the week, but that is indeed the case for the week of April 14th. That’s not to say that I won’t give anything on this list a shot — Rilakkuma and Kaoru looks incredibly cute — but it’s just going to be a shot in the dark.
In fact, the only title that really stands out to me is Silver Linings Playbook… which is actually leaving the service on Thursday. That said, with Gina Rodriguez, Brittany Snow, and Lakeith Stanfield all featured, Someone Great has a cast that might be worth tuning in for, so I’ll probably have to check that out on Friday.

Millennials are the demographic most open to self-driving cars, but not by much
Ford chief executive Jim Hackett made news a few days ago when he seemed to pour a bit of cold water on the carmaker’s autonomous vehicle ambitions, telling the Detroit Economic Club that “we overestimated the arrival” of self-driving cars. Hackett, who was once in charge of the autonomous vehicle unit at Ford, said such cars are still forthcoming from the company in a couple of years as planned, but their applications will be narrow. Making it a reflection of Ford, as other carmakers not named Tesla are currently doing, sort of dipping their toe into the self-driving waters — as opposed to diving in head-first.
A new study from HarrisX sheds some possible light on why that’s the case, with a full third of the Americans polled saying they believe self-driving cars are a bad idea.
