Bluetooth speed probably isn’t the kind of hardware detail you’re interested in when buying a new computer or smartphone, including the iPhone 6s. In fact, Apple did not even talk about the iPhone 6s’s Bluetooth capabilities during its September 9th announcement event, though it did mention the Bluetooth abilities of the new Apple TV and remote during the event.

However, it appears the company did bump the Bluetooth speed from Bluetooth 4.0 to Bluetooth 4.2 on the devices it released last year.

After nearly a decade of research, development, and prototyping, Apple not too long ago decided to completely scrap its plans to release an HDTV. Instead, the company regrouped and decided to go all in with a multipurpose set-top box, the fruits of which were unveiled last month with the introduction of the fourth-gen Apple TV.

Though Apple may have abandoned its HDTV plans, it still has its eyes firmly set on the living room. In fact, the company’s new Apple TV is much better positioned to infiltrate the living room than an HDTV would have ever been. What’s more, going the set-top box route will also prove to be much more lucrative for Apple in the long run. In short, Apple abandoning its HDTV plans and going all-in with a completely revamped Apple TV was a stroke of genius.

Siri got off to a rocky start in the early days. Apple decided to launch its voice-powered digital assistant as a beta and as a result, many people had bad experiences with Siri from the get go. Now, Siri remains an afterthought for a huge percentage of iPhone and iPad owners. Even people who do use Siri likely only use a small fraction of the service’s capabilities.

For as little as $329 with no wireless service contract, the OnePlus 2 delivers design and build quality that surpass smartphones that cost twice as much money — or even more. The phone also packs a nice big display and performance that can easily keep pace many top phones on the market in real-world use. Finally, the OnePlus 2 offers an Android experience that is as close to pure as you can get without using stock Android.

The problem, of course, is that it’s very difficult to actually purchase a OnePlus 2 because you need to score an invitation first. At least, that’s usually the case…
