The Millennialification of America continued this week as Merriam-Webster published a list of some of the 1,400 words it recently added to the Merriam-Webster Unabridged dictionary. Among them are numerous acronyms, slang words and other phrases used commonly by Millennials as well as younger generations.

As most of you know, I’m a pretty big fan of the Apple Watch. Both the current iteration as well as what it means for the future of interaction and integration with technology into our lives. One of the many reasons that smartwatches have failed so far (Apple Watch not included) is that people don’t want to wear them due to the fact they are utilitarian. They aren’t objects of affection. They aren’t jewelry, a bracelet, a bangle, a mechanical watch.
The Apple Watch solves this problem with an unoffensive design, but more so because of the fact that there are thousands of different combinations when considering case material, color and bands. That doesn’t even include Apple Watch-wearers who put third-party straps on their watches.

Not even a month since Elon Musk introduced the Model 3 to the world, it’s clear that Tesla already has a huge hit on its hands. Even before anyone had seen Tesla’s mass market EV, Musk boasted that more than 115,000 people put in reservations for the car. Most recently, Musk relayed that the number of Model 3 reservations is now inching closer to 400,000.

This past February, some clever hackers pulled off a daring bank heist that was aided by a Bangladeshi bank’s decision to buy cheap second-hand $10 routers. In fact, the cheap routers let hackers get away with $81 million by giving them access to the secure computers that handle SWIFT monetary transactions and helping them hide their tracks.
