Comcast CEO Brian Roberts acknowledged this week that you can’t keep raising prices forever… but that doesn’t mean prices can’t go up next month! Ars Technica flags a report from The Hollywood Reporter that reveals Roberts told a Goldman Sachs telecom conference this week that “you can’t keep raising the price [of cable bundles] forever” because “these things have a way of correcting and balancing out before something draconian happens.” However, Ars notes that Comcast is set to unleash a major round of price hikes in several markets across the U.S., including in Oregon and New Mexico.

With a few weeks to go before the Aaron Sorkin penned Steve Jobs biopic hits the big screen, Universal Pictures earlier today released the second official trailer for the highly anticipated film about the Apple co-founder.

Notably, the film, naturally titled Steve Jobs, won’t be a traditional cradle to grave type of biopic. Instead, Sorkin, who knows a thing or two about storytelling, has crafted a film that will mostly focus on three of Jobs’ biggest product announcements, including the original Macintosh. Based on what we’ve seen so far in the two released trailers, the film will also touch a bit on how Jobs’ personal life helped shape his professional life and vice versa.

When Apple introduced the iPad Pro last week, it called up two of its oldest rivals to help sell the device: Adobe and Microsoft. For many, this was quite a sight to behold. For years, Apple and Adobe engaged in a bitter war of words over the former’s reluctance to support flash on iOS devices. As for Apple and Microsoft? Well, their decades-old rivalry certainly needs no introduction.

So when both companies took the stage at Apple’s special event last week to sing the praises of Apple’s upcoming new tablet, it was a funny reminder of how quickly the technological landscape can change.

Further illustrating this point, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella yesterday used an iPhone to demo Microsoft’s Outlook app while speaking at Saleforce.com’s Dreamforce Expo.
