An Apple certified iPhone car charger for just $12? We’ll take two
Buying iPhone accessories can be tricky. A lot of times you have to make the choice between high-quality Apple accessories that are painfully expensive, or third-party accessories that are cheaper, but can also be poorly made. When it comes to car chargers, Apple makes the decision simple by not even making its own options. Instead, you have no choice but to buy a third-party charger — but you absolutely must make sure that it’s Apple certified.
For a limited time, Amazon is selling its AmazonBasics Apple Certified Lightning Car Charger for iPhone, iPad and iPod for just $11.99 shipped.

Google’s entire codebase: 2 billion lines of code and 86 terabytes
Go ahead and take a wild guess as to how many lines of code make up the entirety of Google’s services. We’re talking everything here — search, Gmail, YouTube, Google Docs etc. Now you might want to aim high because there’s a good chance that even your best guess will come in far below the actual figure — a whopping 2 billion lines of code.
Now how about taking a stab at how large Google’s entire codebase is? How bout trying 86 terabytes on for size.
These interesting tidbits come courtesy of Google engineering manager Rachel Potvin who disclosed it at the @Scale engineering conference earlier this week. Not surprisingly, the topic of Potvin’s talk centered on the benefits and challenges associated with storing and managing a gargantuan codebase. And ensuring that everything remains safe, Google’s mammoth code repository is stored and updated at 10 Google data centers located across the globe.

On top of that, there are many interesting new features, including plenty of new tricks that are hidden in iOS 9. While these are all reasons to be excited about upgrading to iOS 9 – and staying there – some people will find at least two reasons to roll back to the latest stable version of “old” iOS (that’s iOS 8.4.1 right now). The good news is that you can do it fairly easily, as Apple is going to support iOS 8 and iOS 9 for the time being.

A Jeopardy! contestant this week hilariously tricked Alex Trebek into saying the name ‘Turd Ferguson’ on the air during the show’s Final Jeopardy round.
Here’s how it all went down.
Going into the final round, a contestant named Talia was in third place with just $600 to her name.
